We have had many requests for an online distance learning program
from people who are eager to take courses from us but are unable
to come to our Learning-Success™ Institute in Ventura, California.
So here it is – we are bringing the Learning-Success™
Institute to you!
Program Highlights:
1. Three Courses–$225.00 each
• Course 1: The Learning Style Profile
Learn how to customize learning programs using results from the
Learning Style Profile
• Course 2: C.A.R.E.S. Principles
Learn how to apply the C.A.R.E.S. Principles to really make a difference
in a child's life and lead to Learning-Success™
• Course 3: F.I.T.T. Principles
Learn how to apply the F.I.T.T. Principles to enhance your customized
learning program and further facilitate Learning-Success™
2. Two Tracks
• Individual Courses
Parents and others who wish to take these courses for their own
use are encouraged to do so. You may choose to take Course 1 only,
Courses 1 & 2 only, or all 3 courses. You will receive a Certificate
of Completion upon finishing a course.
• Learning Style Advocate™ Certification
Teachers, homeschool group directors, and other school or group
facilitators who wish to work with students and their parents can
earn a Learning Style Advocate™ Certificate upon completion
of all 3 courses and approval from the Learning-Success™ Institute.
As a Learning Style Advocate™ you are certified by the Learning-Success™
Institute to help students and parents in your group or school use
learning style information, based on our learning style profile
(A Self-Portrait™ Learning Style Profile is available in paper
version, online, or in our book, "Discover Your Child's Learning
Style").
A Learning Style Advocate™ may not use this title for private
practice work. The Learning-Success™ Institute offers courses
onsite in Ventura, California for those who wish to be a Learning-Success™
Coach in private practice.
Learning Style Advocates™ Receive:
1. Our paper profiles at a discount ($3.75 each instead of $5.00)
2. An original set of our Student Booklet with permission to copy
for students and parents in your group
3. Quarterly chat online- up to one hour with a Learning-Success™
Coach - to ask questions, get help, etc. This chat will be open
to all Advocates and Coaches.
4. Our Learning Style Booklet - a pamphlet which explains the importance
of teaching with learning styles (the first 100 at no cost to you
- then available at our cost plus shipping)
5. A commission of $7.50 per online profile purchased because of
your recommendation
3. Program Textbook–Discover Your Child's Learning Style
by Willis and Hodson
This book may be purchased at any bookstore or online at www.coachingforlearningsuccess.com,
then click on Shop.
4. How It Works
The courses are accessed in the Forum section of this website.
When you register to take a course and pay the fee, you will receive
a password to access the course, instructions on how to proceed,
and the name of the Learning-Success™ Coach that will be your
instructor.
You may print the course out as you receive each lesson, if you
choose. After you post your answers to a lesson, your Coach will
respond to you within a week. Your Coach will review your answers,
making comments and/or suggestions, or asking questions. When one
lesson is finalized, you will be sent the next lesson.
Each course has 6 lessons; it can be completed in 6 weeks or a
maximum of 6 months. Please note that anyone who does not complete
the course within 6 months forfeits the course fee.
